The Windows Sound System is a voice output and voice input program designed to allow voice activation of Windows applications to create a hands-free environment for individuals with a physical or visual disability. Voice Pilot gives the computer the ability to understand spoken commands that will let users activate any command in the menus of applications for the Microsoft Windows operating system. Users can create their own personalized commands and it can easily be turned on or off with voice commands. Voice Wizards will help users to easily create their own voice commands and train Voice Pilot to accurately listen to their voice. Quick Reocrder! lets users record a message, music or sound and then drop it into a document. It also lets users take a note while in an application. Other features are ProofReader and Audio Control. The Microsoft Windows Sound System comes with microphone, microphone adapter, microphone stand, 3.5 inch high density disks and manuals. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Microsoft Windows operating system version 3.1 or later and MS-DOS operating system version 3.3 or later; personal computer using 386SX 25 mHz or higher microprocessor; VGA display; 2 MB of RAM; sound board or integrated audio hardware; and available 8 or 16 bit ISA slot to install sound board. OPTIONS: The program is also available with a sound board and includes Sound Blaster (see separate entry) compatibility, 16-bit stereo sound board, headphones as well as what is listed in the orginal package.
