A plywood board 22 by 8 inches is attached to the walker handgrips with strapping and metal screws, and padded for comfort. Swiveling caster wheels are used on the rear walker legs and Lumex Auto-Stop wheels on the front (downward pressure locks them); the patient can then stand using forearm pressure.
