A Trip To The Zoo is a cognitive skills tutorial program designed to explore and experiment in a zoo environment for individuals with a physical or developmental disability. This is a simple cause and effect program designed to allow them to use a mouse, TouchWindow (see separate entry), or single switch to explore five different areas. Each area uses graphics, sound and animation to familiarize students with zoo creatures. Students can hear sounds that animals make, visit the snack bar, read information plaques that accompany animals, and pet and touch animals. COMPATIBILITY: This program is available on diskette for the Apple or CD-ROM for the Macintosh. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh: System 7.0; 4 MB RAM; 256 color monitor; CD-ROM drive. Optional TouchWindow. Apple IIGS; 1 MB; color monitor; 3.5 inch disk drive; two disk drives recommended. Optional: TouchWindow.
