TechnoBraille and TechnoPrint are printing technologies designed to create braille, tactile letters, or tactile graphics on printed paper for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. These printing technologies create braille, tactile letters, and tactile graphics through application of transparent epoxy. Using this process, they can be applied directly on top of printed letters, characters, signs, and symbols. The process can be used to create labels and documents that are equally accessible to blind and sighted users. For example, the process can be used on product labels and maps, and for publishing educational books, pamphlets, and user's guides. These technologies differ from embossing in that they work on all sorts of materials, not just braille paper, and are fully automatic, with a printing speed of 36,000 sheets per day to enable mass production.
