The Talking Microwave is a voice output microwave oven designed for use by persons who are blind or have low vision. This modified Samson 1000-watt oven talks through all operations, such as "defrost," "cook," "timer on," "7 seconds left," or "door open," in a pleasant British male voice. The touch pad has molded squares and diamonds for tactile identification. The count-down timer can be used independently of the microwave. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 12 x 14 x 20 inches. WEIGHT: 35 pounds.
