The SureDome tile is a detectable warning surface designed to be installed on curb ramps, platform edges, and other surfaces to provide tactile warnings to pedestrians who are blind or have low vision. These tiles feature a pattern of truncated domes. They are made from a modified concrete with additives and fiber technology and have high compression and flexural strength. The tiles are thin, wear resistant, and slip resistant. When wet set into concrete, the tiles molecularly bond to the surrounding material. The tile's density is such that the wear and tear on the tiles is greatly reduced, reducing the need for repair, while maintaining structural surface performance. DIMENSIONS (LxW): 12 x 12 or 24 x 24 inches and 0.625 inch thick. WEIGHT: 8 pounds per square foot.
