The Silent Alert Care Call System is a wandering patient system designed for use by individuals with Alzheimer's disease, mobility disabilities, or spinal cord injury. This system incorporates a small radio pager worn by the caregiver and one or more remote monitors. When the pager receives a radio signal from a monitor it illuminates one of six numbered keys and gently vibrates to discreetly advise the caregiver of an event. It can also be set to emit an audible alarm. Monitoring options include emergency key fob (with fall alarm option), seat alarm, movement detector, sound detector, door switch, or under-carpet pressure pad. The system can monitor up to twelve individuals or zones on one Signwave portable sound flasher or vibrating pager. It has a dual operating range of 100 meters or up to 1,000 meters. All components are sold separately. POWER: Pager uses rechargeable battery; a charger station is included.
