DISCONTINUED. (Verified 08/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. The Roomba Scheduler is a robotic vacuum cleaner designed for use by individuals with spinal cord injury, arthritis, or mobility disabilities. This low-profile round vacuum cleaner is operated via programming and enables the user to preset up to seven cleaning times or weekly, to automatically activate Roomba and Virtual Wall Schedulers. The user selects the room size (small, medium, or large) and the cleaning mode. In maximum mode, the unit cleans the designated area until the battery is completely drained; in spot cleaning mode, the unit focuses on a programmed 40-inch circular area for intensive spot cleaning. This vacuum moves in a spiral motion to cover the entire room or designated area, and spinning side brushes clean tightly along walls and in corners. The two included Virtual Wall units beam an alert across a doorway to keep the vacuum in the room, and sensors prevent it from falling down stairs. An included wall mount bracket provides storage for the vacuum and remote. The Scheduler comes standard with two Virtual Wall units, scheduling remote, wall bracket, one replacement bristle brush, one replacement beater brush, and two replacement filters, as well as documentation and an owner's manual. POWER: The vacuum uses the included rechargeable battery pack. A rapid three-hour charger is also included. Additional battery packs are sold separately. The Virtual Wall units require two D batteries (not included). OPTIONS: Additional Virtual Wall units and replacement filters. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH) 21.1 x 16.9 x 5.2 inches. WEIGHT: 11.55 pounds. WARRANTY: One-year warranty.
