The Rifton 50-inch Prone Stander, Model E59, is a padded prone board with casters designed for use by children and adults with physical and neurological disabilities. Intended for children and adults 58 to 75 inches tall and designed to allow freedom of movement to practice control of the head and upper extremities while stabilizing the trunk and lower extremities in good alignment, the board can be tilted by means of a handcrank. The support frame sits on four non-marking, ball bearing swivels that lock for stability. The tilt board comes with 1-inch urethane foam padding covered with expanded vinyl that can be removed for cleaning; a pair of support blocks that move to any position along the length of the board, are non-slip and removable; a waist strap; and a footboard with non-slip sandals with Velcro straps that adjust for control of internal or external rotation, abduction, or adduction. OPTIONS: Include trays, abduction wedges, collars, foot wedges, additional support blocks, and a hip stabilizer. DIMENSIONS: The unit is 29 x 53 inches. The board is 39 inches long and the width tapers from 19 to 14.5 inches. The board is 33 inches high when horizontal. Top of board to the footboard adjusts from 41 to 50 inches. CAPACITY: Maximum working load is 200 pounds. WEIGHT: 84 pounds.
