The Panasonic Amplified Cordless Phone, model KX-TG2386B, is a cordless telephone with voice output caller identification and an amplifier headset designed for use by individuals who are blind, deaf, hard of hearing, or have low vision. This 2.4 GigaHertz single-line cordless phone features talking caller identification to announce the caller's name and number between rings, a talking phonebook, a talking keypad that announces dialed numbers, an adjustable amplifier handset to amplify incoming sound, a hearing aid noise reducer that reduces interference with T-coil hearing aids, voice enhancer technology to make caller voices sound more natural, a visual ringer and message indicator (the top of the antenna flashes quickly for a ring and slowly to indicate a waiting message), large keypad numbers and letters, and slow talk message playback. Other features include an answering machine with 16 minutes of total answer time, intercom / speakerphone, mute / hold / flash / redial, call waiting caller ID (which provides names for incoming calls during another call), 50-number caller ID history, a headset jack, and a battery level indicator.
