OrCam MyEye 2 is a wearable assistive technology device for the blind and visually impaired, that reads text from newspapers, books, menus, signs, product labels, screens, and can recognizes faces, and identifies products. It responds to simple hand gestures and has more than 20 voice commands. The OrCam magnetically mounts onto any glasses frame, is able to identify products and read labels as well as barcodes. When it identifies faces it does so in real time and announces the recognition. It is Bluetooth accessible and does not need a wi-fi connection.
