Millie's Math House is an academic tutorial program designed to teach math concepts to individuals who have a learning disability. It has lively characters, colorful graphics and music to capture children's imaginations while they learn fundamental skills and concepts in six interactive activities. Reading is not required because all of the instructions and feedback are spoken or represented graphically. Students learn by experimenting with numbers, patterns, and shapes. The program has built in scanning for single switch users. COMPATIBILITY: Macintosh and IBM compatibles. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh System Requirements - Macintosh SE or later; 3.5 inch high density floppy drive for installation; hard disk; System 6.0.7 or higher. For System 6.0, 1MB for black and white, 2 MB for color. For System 7.0 or higher, 2 MB for black and white, 4 MB for color. Macintosh CD-ROM System Requirements - CD-ROM version requires color Macintosh with CD-ROM drive; 4MB RAM; System 6.0.7 or higher; hard disk. TouchWindow and printer is optional. Windows/DOS System Requirements - IBM/Tandy or compatible; MS-DOS 3.1 or later, VGA or EGA; hard disk; 560K free conventional memory; 3.5 inch high-density floppy drive to install; mouse; 25 MHz 386 or faster; third-party sound-output device or card (with external speaker). Supports Sound Blaster and compatibles. CD-ROM version also requires CD-ROM drive, 2 MB extended memory recommended. Windows 3.1 or higher and Printer is optional. OPTIONS: Instant Access Overlays (see separate entry) are available from IntelliTools. Ke:nx Easy Overlays (see separate entry) are available for alternate keyboards and switches from Don Johnston Inc.
