The Magic Chef Talking Microwave Oven is a voice output microwave oven designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. This 1000-watt oven provides spoken confirmation of all functions in a clear male voice. A press of any button will tell the user what each button does. Around each button of the keypad is a raised ring so that the user can locate and press a specific button. Other features include adjustable cook time, four power level settings (Hi, Medium, Low, and Defrost), built-in kitchen timer, removable glass turntable, built-in AM/PM clock, and volume control. An attend-to food timer permits the user to periodically stop the oven within the cook time to stir or re-position food. The unit comes with an audio instruction cassette tape and written instructions on how to use the talking portion of the oven. Original operating instructions for the oven before it was modified are also included. COLOR: White.
