The LeapStart Learning Gym is a visual stimulation training activity designed for use by infants and children with low vision or cognitive disabilities. This two-stage gym features music, lights, foreign language sounds, and spoken words. Hands-on activities help develop fine motor skills and encourage the child to bat, reach and explore. As the baby grows, the gym transforms from infant lie-down play to sitting play. For the lie-down infant, the gym is a multi-sensory learning experience, with twinkling lights, 10 minutes of instrumental melodies from around the world, and a colorful, motorized mobile. As the child grows, the gym transforms to a sit-up activity center that introduces animal names, colors, the numbers one through five, and the concept of opposites. Activities also introduce "hello" and counting from one through five in five languages (English, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese). The LeapStart Learning Gym features a fully adjustable volume control. POWER: Uses four double-A batteries.
