The Ladybug Corner Chair is a corner seat designed for use by children three years old and under with neurological or mobility disabilities. This chair facilitates upright sitting and head control, offers support for straight-backed sitting, and helps protract the shoulders so that arms can come forward to function in midline. The seat back adjusts forward or backward along the seat base to enable the children to sit either in a long-leg or in a conventional sitting position. In addition, the seat back can be removed when the child is ready to learn independent sitting. This chair has a tubular steel frame with locking swivel casters and the seat is upholstered in padded vinyl. An H-strap harness, hip belt, abductor, and a removable tray aid in positioning. The chair's legs are independently height-adjustable to allow the seat to be inclined for children who are not ready for upright sitting. OPTIONS: A headrest is available. DIMENSIONS: The seat back is 12 inches high without the optional headreast and 16 inches high with the headrest. The seat width adjusts from 12 to 13 inches and the floor to seat height adjusts from 6 to 10 inches. The seat base is 13 x 19 inches and the tray is 13 x 11 inches. The casters are 2 inches in diameter. CAPACITY: 50 pounds. WEIGHT: 27 pounds. COLOR: Black frame with red upholstery.
