The InStride Folding Cycle is an arm and leg exerciser designed for use by individuals with upper or lower extremity disabilities, mobility disabilities, spinal cord injury, or arthritis. This cycle exerciser provides a full range of motion workout of the upper and lower body that enables the user to maintain flexibility without stress on the joints. Both upper and lower body cycle movements aid in improving muscle strength in the legs, arms, shoulders, and back. Lightweight and portable, the unit can be taken for use at the office, on vacation, or at home. The user can place the unit on the floor and pedal with the feet while seated, or place it on a desk or tabletop and pedal with the hands. The user can exercise while performing regular daily tasks, but must always be seated when working legs. To vary workout intensity, a tension knob adjusts pedal resistance. The unit has a steel tubular frame with sturdy nonslip rubber feet to prevent slipping. Adjustable foot straps with Velcro closures hold the user's feet firmly in place on the nonslip, weighted pedals. An electronic monitor times the user's workout. The unit can be folded for travel or storage. POWER: Monitor uses batteries. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): 12.5 x 18 x 15 inches (6.5 x 15.5 x 15 inches when folded). WEIGHT: 7 pounds. COLOR: Pewter frame. WARRANTY: Warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship at the time of the original purchase from an authorized retailer.
