The program provides speech output and also provides braille output for users of refreshable braille displays. It reads word processor documents and web pages, and recognizes Windows dialogs, icons, buttons, menus, and controls. When it is installed on a network or a server, it can be used from any terminal and can be switched on or off as required, giving the user the freedom to move around a building or campus. Users can save their preferred settings and retrieve them from wherever they choose to log on. The program comes with a print manual, quick reference cards in print and braille, and an audio manual and interactive tutorials on CD. Technical support is available by telephone and e-mail. OPTIONS: Standard or Professional edition. COMPATIBILITY: Can be installed on wide and local area networks, laptops, or home PCs. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Microsoft Windows Vista or XP operating system. For Vista, requires 1Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 2, 3Ghz Intel Pentium D, Intel Centrino Duo Mobile 1.66, or 3600+ AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor , or equivalent or higher; 1Gb or higher memory; add in AGP, PCI, or PCI Express graphics card with 256 MB memory; on-board or add in sound card; 500 MB of free hard disk space(more for multiple text to speech engines); , Internet connection.
