DISCONTINUED. (Vereified 10/2010) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE.
The Eye Can See Machine is a handheld video magnifier system designed for use by individuals with low vision. This system includes a handheld camera unit, which connects to the video port of a standard television (not included). Images can be viewed in full color or black and white, and in either positive or negative (white letters on black background) mode. A Zooming feature allows the user to zoom images up or down by pushing a button. All features are controlled with push buttons. The camera unit has built-in LED (light emitting diode) lights to illuminate items to be viewed. The system magnifies images from 10 to 30 times original size on a 13-inch television, and 15 to 45 times on a 19-inch television. The camera plugs into the yellow video port found on most televisions, and it can also be connected through a cable connection with the addition of an RF Modulator. WARRANTY: Two years; 60-day trial with full refund.
