Developmental Profile II (DP-II) is a developmental evaluation program software package designed to assess a child's development from birth to 9.5 years of age. The program is a revision of the Alpern-Boll Developmental Profile and consists of 186 " yes-no" items. Five areas are assessed according to age norms: physical age, self-help age, social age, academic age, and communication age. Scale scores are expressed in total number of months. A computer-guided branching identifies basal and ceiling levels, eliminating the need to administer all test items. Each disk is good for 25 uses, after which a new disk must be purchased. COMPATABILITY: For use on Apple II or IBM or compatible computers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: The version for Apple II computers requires Apple II Plus, Apple IIc, Apple IIe, or Apple IIgs with DOS 3.3, 48K memory, an 80-column board, and a 5.25 inch disk drive. The IBM version requires an IBM PC, IBM XT, IBM AT or compatibles or an IBM PS/2 with 512K of memory and one megabyte of hard disk space is required. The program is available on either a 5.25 or 3.5 inch disk. OPTIONS: A manual ($50.00), a package of 25 scoring/profile forms (42.50), mail-in answer sheets for computer scoring and interpretation ($11.00 each), and a kit including the manual, 25 scoring/profile forms, and 2 pre-paid mail-in answer sheets for computer scoring and interpretation ($110.00) are available.
