The ColorTest II Talking Color Analyzer is a color identifier designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. Using a clear human voice, this hand-held device announces the color of any object placed in contact with its sensitive detector. It can distinguish more than 1,000 nuances of color. Depending on the settings selected, the device will announce the universal color name, the common color name, conventional color-analysis (hue, brightness, saturation), or special color-analysis (red, green, blue content). Other features include a talking clock, calendar, timer, thermometer, and three games (dice, roulette, and bingo); an earphone jack (earphones not included); and jacks to accommodate a neck loop. The device comes with a carrying case and instructions in print, braille, and on cassette. Languages available include English (model 1-03951-00) and Spanish (model 1-03951-SP). POWER: Uses built-in rechargeable battery with talking battery status and auto-off to save battery life. A charger is included. WARRANTY: One year limited warranty.
