DISCONTINUED. (Verified 02/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. The Asko Excellence 2004, Superior 12004, and Premier 10504 washing machines feature front-end loading convenience for people with physical disabilities. These compact, Swedish-designed machines fit easily into closets or tight spots under kitchen counters, but have the same internal capacity as most top-loaders. Designed for energy savings and efficiency, the washers use only 11 to 17 gallons of water per load, compared to the 50 gallons per load average of most top-loading machines. All models feature an internal heating system that reaches tempertures of 203 degrees Fahrenheit. The higher internal heating mechanism means clothes are cleaned more effectivly, less detergent is required and water is not drained from the hot water tank. The spin speed is variable for all three models, with model 2004 set at 600 to 1500 revolutions per minute (RPM), the 12004 at 900 to 1300 RPM, and the 10504 at 1000 RPM. Features that are available only on the Premier 10504 include microprocessor touch controls, a delay start and a delay spin option that stops the machine before the spinning cycle for special fabrics requiring no-spinning care. POWER: 220V hook-up with current U.S. 30 amp dryer connection. DIMENSIONS: Premier 10504, 32.25 to 33.5 inches high x 22.5 inches wide; Superior 12004, 32.25 to 33.5 inches high x 23.5 inches wide; Excellence 20004, 32.25 to 33.5 inches high x 23.5 inches wide.
