The Adaptive Firmware Card enables physically disabled persons to run commercially available educational, business, or user-written software using any of sixteen special input methods. The special input methods possible with the Adaptive Firmware Card include single switch, and dual switch (scanning and Morse Code), expanded keyboard capabilities, and keyboard assisting features for individuals using a headpointing device or a single finger. The Adaptive Firmware Card also offers game paddle emulation and a slowdown mode, allowing the user to operate some paddle-based programs with one or two switches. The Adaptive Firmware Card does not interfere with the use of the computer keyboard when installed. Special feature software is included. COMPATIBILITY: For use on Apple IIe computers.
