AIRRTC conducts research and training to improve rehabilitation services for American Indians with disabilities. The Center develops, implements, and conducts research and training activities around four core areas. These areas are: analyzing current disability and unemployment data; recommending successful strategies to improve employment outcomes; developing and evaluating innovative and culturally appropriate VR services for the employment of American Indians and Alaska Natives; and disseminating results of the data collection and evaluation of model employment services to a range of relevant audiences, using appropriate accessible formats.
